Food Pantry

The Food Pantry provides a three to five day supply of food to families in need once in a calendar month.

Donations are always accepted and appreciated.  Working togetther we can feed many needy families this coming year!  Thank you for helping us help others!  

To make a financial contribution please mail or drop off to the Main Office located at 824 Hoffman Street Hammond, IN  46327. 
To make a food contribution please drop off to our office Monday - Thursday 7am - 2pm

Food Pantry Days/Hours of Service: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - and Wednesday's from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Food Pantry is closed on Fridays.   

Waiting Room:   Arrive at 10:30 a.m. to line up to register and receive a number.

Food Pantry Requirements: We do not currently serve the cities of Gary and East Chicago or any of Illinois.

All clients must provide an Indiana State Issued Picture I.D. each time they come to the food pantry.

New Food Pantry clients are required to provide the following documents on their first visit in order to receive service (documents provided cannot be more than 30 days old):

*Indiana State Issued Picture I.D.

AND

*Current proof of Address.  Only one of the following will be accepted.
          *Utility Bill (Nipsco, water/sewer, phone or cable/internet)
          *Current lease (must be complete lease and signed)
          *Township Trustee Printout (with current address listed)
          *Welfare Printout (with current address listed)

AND

*Proof of Household Size.  You will be required to provide one of the following to show proof of each household member you are claiming:
         *Social Security Cards
         *Birth Certificates
         *Township Trustee Printout (listed all household members)
         *Welfare Printout (listing all household members)
